Google to add ‘Google Search’ to navigation options

Google is adding “Google Search” to its search engine results, a move that could have implications for its search product and for the way users interact with the search engine.

In a blog post Monday, the search giant said it will begin adding the search option to Google’s main navigation menu and search results in its new Search and Search Results sections.

It’s the first time the company has added the option to navigation results in the main navigation area of its search results pages.

Google will also begin rolling out the new search results to other apps, including those from Apple, Microsoft and other platforms.

Google’s move comes at a time when it’s working to boost the search experience for consumers by adding the option of a search bar on its homepage, which is a key element in making Google’s search engine relevant to consumers.

The company said in its blog post that “Google search has a long history of being one of the most popular searches on Google.”
